ADR (carriage of hazardous goods by road) – classroom
All drivers carrying dangerous goods within the scope of The Carriage of Dangerous Goods Regulations require a Vocational Training Certificate (VTC) issued by DVLA. The VTC is issued once a driver has completed an approved course and passed the exams.
DTT offers ADR training courses including:
- Core Element
- Tanker Module
- Package Module
- Dangerous Goods classes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 9

Initial and refresher
ADR classes 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 & 9 (5 day course; Monday to Friday).
Packages only
ADR classes 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 & 9 (4 day course; Monday to Thursday).
Tanks only
ADR classes 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 & 9 (4.5 day course; Monday to Friday, except Thursday pm).
